Once Upon a Vine, The Non Profit Sector Grew

We already know about Twitter. It's short, sweet and to the point. But maybe you haven't heard about Vine, the new Twitter video system that allows users to upload short (6 second) video clips that are displayed on your feed and accessed by millions.

Now you may be wondering how six seconds is enough time to communicate the mission and goals of your organization, right? Well, much like everything else media related, you can condense just about anything and still have it be effective. If a picture is worth a thousand words, how many can you get out of six seconds of video? Granted, Vine is a recently released application (Born in January 2013) so it may be a passing fad, but why not take a risk and make a vine video? Who knows, it could pay off big time in the future.

Be sure to check out this article by "Non-Profit Nate," a well known blogger. He teaches you 21 ways that any non profit can use Vine to reach an previously untapped audience. I've also posted the video on his page that you may find interesting!
